Practice sheet edition. The version of the major scale here my teacher made for me is really nice. Containing the scale to 4 frets helps a lot for me.

if I could do it over again I would skip theory and learn everything by ear, and only focus on 1-2 genres of music

I was doing scales vertically not knowing it was stunting my development. I was having a much easier time with these new shapes
>>
>>129778983
moving between shapes makes phrasing during improvisation really click. especially when you're practicing chordal melody - when you are moving between positions to play different chords, you start to see how you can move positions in a similar way when playing lead to add a similar movement to your playing without thinking too much about it

Nice work. It’s hard to get duets down and besides a little string noise in the treble track, it has promise.

I don't know, anon. I'm a beginner and retarded. I mean, I like the way it sounds, but I know it has a grounding issue because it buzzes when I don't touch the strings. Overall, I don't dislike it, though.

>guitar is a game of millimeters over the course of milliseconds
You also mentioned F and C but neglected to say which ones. I said this about a week ago, but you need to use the inner knuckles of the first finger. That can be wrist angle, elbow angle, finger pressure, callouses (or lack thereof), or The Great Siberian Itch

Keeley Zoma came in, been goofing off since I got off with tremolo and playing variations of How Soon Is Now while I dial the pedal in and learn what it can do. Tremolo is tons of fun but it’s easy to go overboard or just sound like turd. The reverb is great too, almost to the point to make me want to not bother with my separate little spring reverb tank/pedal box.

It's this version, so it's E1 and B1, which are the the C and F notes of this chord, no? Or am I retarded? Ironically, I can do the barre version of F just fine, but I can't switch to it in time. I've been practicing with a metronome to give some sort of metric to my practice, but I'm not sure if it's psyching me out.

So, Amazon sells this product with the cut bridge sides and the titanium saddles. I just want the saddles. They sell the saddles in brass on their own.

Anyone have any experience with titanium saddles? Should I even bother with compensation for the tuning accuracy? It's for my Squier Classic Vibe 60s Custom Telecaster... I also want to get a new string gauge: D'Addario Chromes flatwound 13s.

Slide that pattern as far up the neck as you can comfortably (ex. ring finger on the 12th), then see where it falls apart as you descend one fret at a time (it’s harder to fret by the nut due to string tension, so you’re failing on hard mode from the get-go.)

If you fail that, just move that three notes around omitting the barre for now. Then, when you’re comfy, observe how your first finger either curls over the open e string or barres the two. For barring, you fingers are more angled.

It’s essentially a second volume knob for only the neck pickup, it kind of acts as a blend in the middle position but only for increasing neck pickup output. In the neck position it increases output. It’s kind of silly and would be better off without it but it remains because the owner of Rickenbacker knows the purist nerds would be mad if he had it removed even when he admits it’s obsolete and doesn’t need to be there anymore
