Where the FUCK is the new album they said they were recording two years ago?

>Virtual insanity
How did he know bros?
>>
>>129788653
I miss him dancing like crazy, since his accident that severely davaged his back he hasn't been the same during live performances.
>>
>>129788653
I remember when someone posted that they played Jamiroquai at work and his coworkers made fun of him and called him Jamiroqueer. So funny
>>
>>129791036
hilarious story that totally happened
>>
>>129788653
New album? Same as the old one
>>
Jamiroquai haven't had a good song since 2005. Don't Give Hate a Chance was the last hit single.

wrong:
>2006

>2010

>2011

>2017

now ofc if you compare all of these to the holy trinity (songs from HOPE, TROTSC or TWM), or even Synkronized, none of them make the cut, even though Vitamin is very Synkronizedesque.
Still great tracks.

They're supposed to do the final ironing before the mid-year release afaik - sax, strings, adlibs, final production and all that. Maybe that one fatso fan from the band's plebbit knows more apart from what's public. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
>unrelated fun fact: Falling's bassline was mostly Zender's to begin with, actually
>>
Unrelated but i'm sure Thundercat "borrowed" Virtual Insanity for his Fan's Mail song they sound so similar

oh did really suffer an injury? I saw him live and he was great

Mad they never linked up

redpill me on this guy, I only know two songs by him and sounds like a rip off of black people music.
are his albums anything special?
>>
>>129795908
>redpill me on this guy

>half-portuguese britbong street boy starts a band after a near-death experience in a classic britbong fashion (getting stabbed while hustling drugs)
>along with his didgeridoo-wielding bud from the skating days, and moog/rhodes synth & fender/warwick bass half-gods
>starting from a "save the world!" greenpeace-tier ecoshit perspective (EOPE) with an acid-jazz/funky sprinkle on it
>pivoting towards smoking the cheeba (TROTSC) and driving lambos (TWM)
>while not busy beating up the paparazzi coked-up, fucking peak winona ryder and denise van outen back in the 90s and DANCING
They're more of an album/B-side/live band rather than singles. Start with the first three albums (i'm biased towards starting with TROTSC rather than EOPE desu), with the classic lineup (Kay/Smith/Zender/Buchanan); especially their instrumentals from that era are superb.

Didn't know that history about JK. Tbqh i see them as a singles band can't listen to a whole album it's too repetitive and the digaridoo just grates on repeat listen. But they are fanstastic at what they do right. Virtual Insanity is timeless

A return to form but 6/10

Alright.
I think they just ran out of juice or I just have funk fatigue or something
>>
>>129795600
yeah, around 2017, it limited his mobility on stage. He's fine now, but since he got fat he doesn't dance that much anymore.
>>
>>129788653
was fedora tipping cool in the 90s?

>>129795065

It was potentially cool pre-reddit

And Maroon 5 - Sunday Morning is a shameless copy of it
@129795908
Yeah shut up

>Live
Old fart here.
I've seen every band, live act you can think of, from Bob Dylan to U2 to Metallica to .. literally whatever you can think of from folky acoustic stuff to blues to experimental weird shit to extreme metal.
THE MOST AMAZING LIVE ACT I'VE EVER SEEN -TWICE–, WAS, HANDS DOWN Jamiroquai... By far...
>>
>>129796695
Why did early Millennials, late 80s kids like my 41 year old friend like Jamiroquai so much? And have such a nostalgic attachment to the repetitive, obnoxious shit? Is it the fuzzy hat and the way the fisheye camera lenses made him look like a child-sized manlet in the music videos? But seriously, what the fuck was this psyop?
>>
>>129804866
It's funky as fuck. You probably know this already but you're too captured by the chud mindset to let yourself feel the grooves and jam out. Neurotic faggot.
>>
>>129804866
They have their moments if you like acid jazz/fusion but yeah early millennials especially have zany side character syndrome so that kind of persona appeals.
