One was soul, the other is soulless. Remember when you could curate albums for someone and give it to them on a USB or iPod?Now streaming is all cut off from the social aspect. You can listen to playlists made by a stranger but it’s not the same.
>>129802631>screenshot of the mobile version of piratebayFucking lmao. Fuck off
>>129802673You know you can torrent on your phone, tard?
>>129802713>torrenting music on your phone from fucking piratebay
>>129802631u know u can make playlists for friends too anon
CURATE YOUR LOCAL LIBRARYREJECT THE GREEN APPRETVRN TO TRADITION
The convenience of streaming is undeniable but all that instant access to a huge, growing library makes for a less personalized listening experience. There is no rational basis for thinking one kind of person is better tho
>>129802754>melty over pirating because it supposedly takes away from his profits>not a word against streaming
>>129802631>Remember when you could curate albums for someone and give it to them on a USB or iPod?some qt asked me to do just that in 2014, put on a bunch of albums on her ipod she asked me to load with music, I remember there was a shit ton of badly tagged mp3s on there, you had the classic Bob Marley Don't Worry Be Happy, System of a Down Legend of Zelda, there was a mp3 of Creep tagged with the artist name Edward Cullen on the Twilight Soundtrack for some reasonthat girl was the only 9/10 I'm met irl, way out of my league, she now studies human-robot relations in italy or some shit
>>129802802>melty over pirating because it supposedly takes away from his profits>Still touring 25 years laterBro needed to just be happy his shit drumming was palatable to so many people.
>>129802863>>Still touring 25 years laterIf you hadn't downloaded the leaked version of St. Anger, Lars would have had enough money to retire years ago. You have to think young brother. Actions have consequences

>>129802958i had a bootleg version of the album in grade school, my parents got it somewhere. it's the reason im into noise music now
>>129802631I pay for streaming and pirate everything else, spotify is the only service I find more convenient than pirating
>>129802631remember my dick in ur butt?
>>129802958>Still touring 25 years laterHe shouldn't be.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nMkrwRdXkooLook how well they play with a proficient drummer. No stops and starts.
>>129803421This is the beginning of the cringe reddit soiyboy type person
Eh, there is nothing to stop you from grabbing music off Youtube and turning it into MP3s, there are programs that make it simple and convenient
my fathers day gift to pa this year is a 160 gb ipod packed full of my dad's favorite music, since he lost his computer hes had to basically rely on CDs or his shitty ipod shuffle (or mini i forget), i know hes gonna act like its whatever but hes gonna love it so long as I didn't put too many of my recs on there (theres like tons of artists he doesn't know but my dad is semi open minded with music so long as the guitar is good)
>>129804399It sounds like shit though. Youtube already compresses them to shite. Just use soulseek or myfreemp3 or something like that.
i would sell my soul to find a new way to seek mp3s
>torrenting albumsdo people really
>>129804888Soulseek is perfect on a PC but I need an easy way on my phone
>>129804955Why? If you're going to access music on-demand whenever you want just stream it. I like hoarding mp3s because I have to make a conscious decision to migrate something onto my player
>>129804888Internet Archive has whole discographies sometimeseMule still works and has stuff and a niche but active userbase (don't recommend for obvious reasons)Boy do I miss the days when there were hundreds of good active warez sites and shit like FilesTube for mp3s. And BearShare, even if it was virus-ridden crap
>>129804977>eMule still works and has stuff and a niche but active userbase (don't recommend for obvious reasons)wait why
