Yeah it think OP was being purposefully absurd with that claim. That said WP is really well produced even compared to Quebec and The Mollusk. I remember reading that it was their last record obligation from Elektra so they just went all out and got the record label to spend a fuck ton of money so they could record it in state of the art studios in Hawaii and hire a bunch of expensive session musicians (again). Also they really did apparently spend a ton of the label's money on cocaine which inspired Banana's n Blow

Did anyone else buy the reissue of this that came out on their website a while back?
