RIP. I always thought he looked really old compared to the rest of the band. Maybe he’s had it for a long time.
Also wondering if this was a factor behind the band breaking up. Sucks to see but it was a long career.

FLCL was pretty important to the formative years of 4chan. it was the earliest inspiration i recall of getting into anime, before this site existed.

the pillows' music simply loaned their work towards the anime, and it worked very well in my opinion. the creators of the anime, and the band themselves, probably did not predict that this show would become such a cult classic. it was likely how the majority of us came to know them. the band has remained very dear to me ever since.
