Pup is a good pull. One of the 4-5 bands from that era that holds up. Try on some of the early Jeff Rosenstock albums (We Cool? and WORRY. mainly)
>>129819450
Lemon Twigs... Fuck yeah. It may be 60's pastiche but the songwriting is undeniable. Listen to Song Cycle by Van Dyke Parks for more 60s pop goodness
>>129819409
I should get into Pet Shop Boys, they've got a vibe that seems like it'd really appeal to me. Maybe check out some Underworld or Orbital LPs
>>129819226
Howlin' Wolf is about the only one that I'm very well-acquainted with, but an excellent choice nonetheless. Maybe listed to Taj Mahal's self titled

love Unwound, though I prefer most of their releases over Fake Train

Cloud Nothings is great too, been jamming "Psychic Trauma" (it's on one of their subsequent records) a lot the past year or so

only just recently got around to checking Murmur so still assessing that one

need to check that Orbital album... also have only heard a couple of the jazz albums here

>>129823715
>chopped-off titties on ablum cover

still need to get around to the hip hop albums here

I mean I don't see any metal or extreme musics on your chart but if you like Breach there's a good chance you'd dig some Neurosis... debating on whether or not I wanna check the 3 or 4 I haven't heard yet before jamming the new one

The new Tortoise is excellent. Only gotten better with repeated listens. Thanks for the rec. Although I'm not big on rap, the instrumental parts are nice.
