With the release of BULLY he’s solidified himself as second only to McCartney in terms of revolutionizing an entire genre. Any argument otherwise is invalid by default. I can’t name anyone more influential in music post 2000 and like McCartney his music will be played 50 years from now and still hold up and be a cornerstone for music production then. Absolutely not. Nobody is or can be. Pop culture is too diverse these days.
Everyone knew who MJ was and knew a few of his songs. I've never heard a single song by Kanye and don't know the name of one either.
