With the release of BULLY he’s solidified himself as second only to McCartney in terms of revolutionizing an entire genre. Any argument otherwise is invalid by default. I can’t name anyone more influential in music post 2000 and like McCartney his music will be played 50 years from now and still hold up and be a cornerstone for music production then. Appreciate him while you can /mu/.

There is no greater pop culture icon today than Ye.

He is as big a cultural force today as Michael Jackson was in the 80s and 90s.

History will absolve him.

I, like >>129833701 feel the same about HMHAS. It was my most listened to album last year. Bully will probably be AOTY for me this year.

Been on /mu/ since covid. Kanye’s pretty much been keeping the board alive since KPOP isn’t real music anyway.

Absolutely not. Nobody is or can be. Pop culture is too diverse these days.
Everyone knew who MJ was and knew a few of his songs. I've never heard a single song by Kanye and don't know the name of one either.

I hate how it still feels like Kanye hasn't released a proper album since Life of Pablo. Everything after that just seems like meme side project shit like Donda and Vultures. This one is the same
