I reviewed all the electronic stuff I've like/saved this year> Pye Corner Audio> Blanck Mass> James Shinra> Ladytron> Boards of Canada> (some) Depeche Modeand they're all British. I'm not British, I'm not from a British colony, I've never been to the UK and don't want to go there. But for some reason it's specifically the way they do electronic stuff that resonates with me.What else should I try that's in this vein and what are the conditions under which this strain of electronic music (whatever you call it) developed in the UK?
