Tonight's listen:Grand Theft - Hiking Into EternityAfter several years of performing in the Seattle area with limited local success, soft/folk-rock band Bluebird decided to record a hard rock album as a piss-take. The result, issued in 1972 under the moniker of Grand Theft, sounded mostly like Grand Funk Railroad crossed with Led Zeppelin minus 20 IQ points. The highlight has to be "Closer to Herfy's", a thunderous, cataclysmic, ten-minute epic about going out for fast food. Although the record gained considerable radio traction in the northwest in spite of limited distribution, the planned follow-up album was never completed and Grand Theft morphed back into Bluebird for another year before calling it quits. This hard-to-find CD gathers the original album, inconsequential early rehearsals, and two tracks recorded for the aborted sequel. Worth checking out if you like your classic rock a little over-the-top. 7.4/10

Unironically these are the best modern /mu/ threads.
An endless torrent of slop has dealt significant damage, near taken over the spirit of the board for so many years now. Despite it, soulful threads like this give hope for a better /mu/. I don't even like dadrock
>>129842312It's funny because every single thread OP has posted is dadrock: https://desuarchive.org/mu/search/subject/bum%20on%20tumBizarre gimmick
