As usual my best friend didn't hardly give me any positive feedback but my other friend who usually says nothing actually liked it for once so that felt good.

Théâtre De La Cruauté>Originally a straight-forward post-industrial noise affair with mostly recorded instruments and machines, changed after a few years of silence into a trippier, more relaxed though also sometimes unsettling, suspense-ridden operation>Plunderphonics>Sound collage, Found Sound, Field Recordings>Psychedelic Post-Industrial>Film-influenced Surreal Soundscapes>The kind of "music" that I would want to listen to while high off my gourd, and finding that the likes of Graham Bowers, Steven Stapleton, Philip Jeck, etc didn't quite cut it though they all got very very close, decided to take business intomy own hands and acutally make my very own Music For The Purpose Of Tripping.>I've been doing it on-and-off for 15 years; curiously my most producted period has been 2019-2025, the worst period of my life so far. No drugs used there, I can assure you. I couldn't afford them.>I call it "Schizodelia" because I am very pretentious>I also made the cover art for the five "proper" ones at different points in life but always following the same instinct represented in the "music">first two albums are pure industrial/noise, though, so, fair warning; something like a five-year gap and the appearance of certain substances between these two and the rest which are more uniformEverything's for free. Take it. It doesn't matter.

>>129844444To be fair that one is (not counting the first two albums which are completely stylistically unrelated to what came after) one of the most, em, sonically upsetting ones I ever did. At least in terms of volume and density. Maybe you should try some of the mellower ones, like Exégesis, 占星術 or Pиcoпиcaниe Aгoнии Myжчины>i do hope others will. It's trippy as fuckHey, thanks man

>>129844604I guess i just picked the most uncomfortable one first. Yaay. I might try to dip my toe in one of the other ones you mentioned. Now, i can still acknowledge the soundscapes and it's artistic expression. So 10/10 for that. Not joking. The worst thing you could do is bore me with music. This did the opposite. However, it was hard to really understand wtf was coming through my headphones. So not bored, just really uncomfortable. TLDR: Good job, and also, wtf. Hah
>>129845515>o 10/10 for that. Not joking.Hey I'm flattered enough that someone would want to have a second go at my stuff, that's praise enough really, but I greatly appreciate that.>it was hard to really understand wtf was coming through my headphonesHa! That used to be one of my main priorities! My process was "I'm goign to make a very trippy bunch of sounds and hopefully by the time I'm done with it I'll have forgotten about it, so that when I experience it in ideal condition (i.e. high) it will be a new and exciting experience". I wanted to be confused and not knowing what to expect. I found it (still do, but life's been terribly unkind and my sense of wonder and excitement have been badly damaged as a result) pleasurable on an intellectual and physiological level. So long as I didn't overdo it and suddenly find myself overstimulated, but thankfully that never happened.
>>129845620As an addendum, as far as the process concerning the older stuff, I just was on a very intense early Throbbing Gristle/Whitehouse/Brighter Death Now kick at the time (2009/2010) and wanted to do something similar to that but slightly more psychedelic. I cannot say that I succeeded in any particularly notable way.
>>129845620You sure have an interesting way of approaching entertainment if that is what you do.No judgement though, just fascinating. Sorry that life has been rough. I mean we all get some shit thrown our way, but some shit smells worse then others. Yes i just used that as an analogy.>>129845634No idea who any of those are, so i'm gonna believe you when you say you are unsure about the so called success on that front.
>>129845753It's been steadily downhill since late 2019. Nothing has gotten better and everything has gotten worse. I don't think I'll make it to the end of this decade.>>129845753>No idea who any of those areNo matter, the point is that judging by your reaction to the big boom and screaming people on Azerole[...] that I'd advise you steer clear from those two early albums. Nothing of value is lost either way; I'm deeply unhappy with the finished product and didn't get rid of it out of a sense of self-pity and maybe a distorted version of paternal instinct
