Why do woman don't like progressive rock or more complex forms of rock in general? I always see girls into indie and alt rock at best, but never something else. I would like to introduce some female friends into some records but i'm afraid it will creep them out.

I don't have a lot of friends but a couple of girls I know do like prog.It's unproductive to generalize things as "women like x, men like y" or similar, it won't lead you to any coherent conclusion other than what you already wanted to believe in. In reality there are as much differences within a gender as there are across genders so it's pointless to separate them like that.
