Ok, slight amendment. Ronnie COULD write songs that weren't him eating his own shit over and over again. I think Lock Up The Wolves and Computer God are great examples. The problem is that he just didn't feel like ever leaving his comfort zone.
For a guy who left Rainbow ostensibly to preserve his half of the creative freedom, he didn't explore much
