I love metal music, but metal fans are almost all cringelords. They're either boomers, Reddit manchildren, or fake tough guys. None of them have any knowledge of music, nor any social skills.

I dont listen to metal and I dont have any social skills. How about that?
>>
>>129849493
everyone you meet online is like that, metalhead or not.
>>
>>129849533
Well what do you listen to?
>>
>>129849547
I've met metalheads in real life though
>>
Correct.
>>
>>129849639
something makes me doubt that you have
>>
>>129849944
I've been to metal concerts
>>
>>129849493
Manchildren who act like tough guys like metal because it's staging a fantasy which fills in for something missing and also shapes how people experience their reality. It's not that different from pro wrestling.

>>
>>129850263
Rammstein is babby tier
>>
>>129849493
perceive them however you like... but calling them fake tough guys? absolutely not
>>
>>129849493
People who think metal fans like to act tough have never met metal fans. Metal fans just like to have fun and are passionate about hat they enjoy. There is almost zero tough guy nonsense anywhere in metal. Thats more of a hardcore thing.

I have met some rl and they can be tough
>>
>>129854219
How is he a fake tough guy if he literally killed someone? He might have been a satanist dork but he wasn't faking anything.
>>
>>129854273
Literally anyone can just go out and shoot someone, you don't need to be tough to do it lol.
>>
>>129850263
but enough about rap fans
>>
>>129854304
I thought he stabbed the guy to death? Am I mixing up my black metal criminals?
>>
>>129854304
not everyone
>>
>>129854338
Yeah the Emperor drummer and Varg were the stabbers
>>
>>129849493
Are you talking about people that listen only to metal music & nothing else? Or just anybody that listens to metal in general?

What about hip-hop fans? I've found them to adopt the wannabe gangster mentality despite growing up upper-class.
>>
>>129854422
Hip hop fans are typically just normies.
>>
>>129854439
Answer my other questions if you're OP.
>>
>>129854451
I guess people that primarily listen to metal
>>
It's no longer cringe to listen to metal, so metal-only people are disappearing. They come out of their shell and they're dipping their toes into rock and even pop. Only the really poorly adjusted metalheads stay purists.
>>
>>129854498
What are you talking about it's more cringe than ever to listen to metal
>>
>>129854457
It depends. Although I listen to predominantly heavy metal(particularly the more technical subgenres). Also enjoy alternative rock, ambient, EDM, hardcore punk, blues, etc.
>Am I a boomer? No, I'm a zoomer.
>Am I a plebbitard? No I'm a 4channer.
>Am I a hardass? No, I'm a sensitive-heart.

Please stop relying on generalizations.
I used to think all hip-hop fans were wannabe gangsters yet realized it was stupid.
>>
>>129854498
Could you elaborate on the purist part?
>>129854508
In your opinion.
