Do y'all think that Mayhem's music improved after Euronymous "left"?
I think Varg's unfair dismissal hurt the band way more.

I don't care about anything post-De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas. Euro wasn't great but his riffs were catchy and fun.
It got more technical, but less soulful.
Mayhem was only good after they got some actual MUSICIANS in the band. True visionaries like Euronymous Varg Snorre and the Norwegien scene were what Made Mayhem Truly Remarkable. Their 1997 lineup was Alright but the more they became a useless creatively failing career band (especially with that Has-been loser negrobutcher) they lost their worthiness. 1488 to Varg, the hero of our Nordic heritage.

Blasphemer definitely had good ideas and worked hard to prove himself as Euro's successor. Once he left, the band became truly soulless, with only Attila giving it any sense of spark whatsoever.
