Good but I'm tired of hearing it

Hate it, the sound of 1970s jazz fusion.
>>
>>129859200
I was thinking in prog from 70s but yes.
It is undoubtedly the instrument most anchored to a particular period ever. It automatically makes a song outdated.
>>
I like the timbre, it's very pleasant but it's limited by the lack of dynamics.
The Wurlitzer on the other hand has better dynamics but worst timbre.

Obsoleted by the DX7.

Stevie Wonder
Steely Dan

No bad music was made on it
>>
>>129860570
For the most part yes. The real one has better bass but the DX7 is good enough.
>>
>>129859007
This and the hammond organ were way over done.
>>

The Rhodes is timeless, DX7 is "80's" in almost every configuration.
I love both, but if I could only have one it would be the rhodes and it's not even close.

I think Donald Fagen played Wurlitzer, but close enough.

It sounds just as 70s as the DX7 sounds 80s.
