Should I buy a Drop pedal or a second guitar? I want to play songs that are on D standard, Drop C and C standard. I'm using 10-46 at my only electric guitar and anything below Eb standard or Drop C# just feels too floppy. Just be honest.

Most of them works fine but don't shift more than 1 or 1 and a half step, they start sounding really weird beyond that

It's gonna sound weird but embrace it and make unique sounding music with it. The only alternative is getting a bunch of guitars with different gauges and setups per tuning, which is what everyone already does and fuck uniformity

Just buy 11 gauge strings
The only problem with 11s is E standard will feel too tight but if you don’t plan on playing higher than D standard there’s no problem
