Dylan never sang better than on this collection of songs. The 67 to 75 period of his career is full of beautiful and tender songs scattered all over his (and others') albums. All the talk about Blood on the Tracks being his ''return to form'' is just bullshit.Copper Kettle, This Evening So Soon, Pretty Saro, Time Passes Slowly, Sign on the Window, Tattle o'Day, Thirsty Boots, the live side with the Band...etc are all A+ tunes.
I agree. beautiful recordings. his best work.
funny that in most of those live tracks he sings a fourth bellow, very baritonely. I pity the poor imigrant goes from F down to C. very very delicious, he is the best
>>129864474I wish he kept doing shit like that with his voice for longer than he did. It could have saved his 80s career desu.
Dylan never sang
>>129864660nah thats you
I'll go ahead and admit that Another Self Portrait and John Wesley Harding make Blonde on Blonde sound very juvenile to me. I can't see the latter album as anything but a brilliant junkie fucking around.
>>129865351Visions of Johanna is the best song ever written.
>>129865433You will always be a jobber, ya ding dong diddly pinhead
But I dream of pretty Saro wherever I go~
>>129865469Man you've sure got a lot of gaul.
>>129864352With all due respect to a legend what the fuck is wrong with his voice? serious replies only, its baffling.
>>129868248>what the fuck is wrong with his voice?uh, literally nothing?
