The annoying thing is when you ask the dentist how many days they say you should just quit or they give wildly different answers. I've heard anywhere between 2 days and 2 weeks. I looked up videos of the dry socket procedure and those patients look like they're experiencing the worst pain they've ever felt. But yeah, I would manage a day or so without a cig/vape and by day two I was stuffing cotton balls into the wound and just smoking with my mouth halfway open. The vape I have now I can hit through my nose super easily but it just isn't satisfying at all. The shitty thing about smoking addiction for me is that it's not even about the nicotine, gum or patches don't do shit, It's just about the act of smoking that I can't kick
