Bob Dylan can sing. In terms of Rock vocalists he's one of the best there is. The problem is he kept forgetting how to sing/blowing out his voice. He's temperamental. One night you might get a God tier performance, better than the album recording and the other night you'll get a dog that's learned to stand up on a keyboard and roar.

Really his voice blew out completely about 1977 but he regained a certain old man gravitas on the records at least. The live gigs are still Scooby Doo upsinging
