Taking every studio album into account (except the posthumous ones without the artists' creative input):
5. Eminem
4. Biggie
3. Tupac
2. Nas
1. MF DOOM

Everyone praised MF when he passed but when he was alive his only mainstream collaborators were Wu-Tang, Danger Mouse and Damon Albarn.
I've always wondered did he consider it bad for his image to work with popular people or did they all lie about how much they respected him? I don't think he ever even worked with Tech N9ne let alone Eminem or Nas.

what does Jirafales have to do with your shitty list?

I did a little googling expecting to be wrong but the only other person you could add to his list of popular collaborators is Westside Gunn. There's an Open Mike Eagle verse on one of the Czarface tracks but he's not really that big.
