As much as i like the idea of having a long running drum general that people actually consistently talk in, it just doesn't seem possible given the tiny amount of people, let alone drummers that actually use this board.
>>129886453he plays like a girl>>129889050begone negative vibes poster
>>129889050makes sense. last time I could find info that statistics were guitar players outnumber drummers 25 to 1. gg has a lot of yammering idiots, but occasionally there is some intelligent posts.... chord shapes, progressions, some sane gear discussion. what fun things can we talk about here? paradiddles? yawn. that being said I always try to contribute.
>>129889285lars cant paradiddle
Using mallets on a steel piccolo snare, 14x12 low low tuned rack tom, two "8 inch cowbells, and high and low pitched Jambells
>>129889311Sure he can. They'd just have to splice it together out of 100 takes or so.
>>129889311mine suck, so I'm in good company. now all i need is his millions$$$$
>>129889050Let’s be honest, the board is smothered by waifu spam. It’s not worth even trying anymore, the mods/jannies are corrupt.
Bought some of the Promark Oak 2B sticks and they're so much more durable than anything else I've used. They don't even feel that heavy once you get used to them desu.
>>129895258I haven't tried oak. I like maple. They are lighter and don't tend to last as long, but they tend to absorb shock a bit better. I think it is because they are a bit more flexible than hickory or oak.
if you cant play in a coffee shop with a fullkit you're a shit drummer.WORK ON DYNAMICS
>>129897971You underestimate how fucking loud drums are.
>>129897977PLAY SOFTER FAGGOT
>>129897994I play metal and rock man. Sure I use ghost notes and all but there's really no situation that calls for super soft playing.
