anyone listened to this new band Shearling? their first album and its one hour long noise rock track, yep this would've been /mu/core in our golden age for sure
i don't listen to horsefucker music
i'm just kinda crawling through this long ass track which was kinda doomy at first and is now like Revolution 9 meets noise punk around 10 minutes in and really I'm just happy people that rock is so away from the mainstream that experimental shit gets signed, its like the the 2020s equivalent to Red Krayola or some shit
Got pretty fucking dope around 15 minute mark. Officially depressed I never got to make retard experimental noise rock with my bros, we all liked noise and we were all retards
this band is the follow up project to Sprain which was daughters esque noise rock, so I'm working my way backwards now, shits pretty cool if you like noise
Tries too hard to be like picrel. The singer sounds like someone’s uncle trying to save their youth.
>>129888757I've heard it. Incredibly cringe, uninteresting, and the singer sucks.
>>129889154i havent heard that album but based on the genre for it online I kinda doubt they have that much in common besides the "sound collage" part. Shearling mostly sounds like doomy noise post rock
Seriously though if you dont wanna trudge through it because youre musically impatient jump to the 15 minute mark, the sound right there got me
>>129889045Sprain was better
