What went wrong? How did he go from being an incredibly popular music critic to an obscure nobody with barely any following?
A lot of YouTubers who were big during the early days of YouTube have since seen their viewcounts plummet.I know a guy who started his channel in 2009, has 50k subscribers, got around 30,000 views per video during his peak in 2013, now barely gets 700 views per video today.YouTube massively fucked the algorithm.

I’ve never understood the point of music critics. With other mediums like film, tv, books, video games etc you need to know if it’s worth your time and money. Music is easily obtainable for free, and has a very short consumption time. Not to mention you can consume music while doing other day to day activities.Why do I need some eceleb telling me how to think about it?
