bands or musicians you only like one album by
>six sevenoh my God...
>>129895168
>>129895414wrong album
>>129896373? they arent even remotely similar
>>129895168Also, this mogs the rest of The Strokes discography (10/10 in the midst of 5/10s)
>>129896392I like some of their stuff but yeah the power gap is ridiculous
>>129896392And this mogs the rest of Depeche Mode discography
>>129895168Obvious one:
>>129896504why do musicians trying really hard hump this so much? it's good, but is it really that good.
>>129896504onvious you can’t read op’s post, this is your opinion and since you’re anonymous and no one knows your taste then it wouldn’t be obvious you’re a pleb who never bothered digging into beach boys to discover a classic like sunflower or others
>>129896392This
>>129896392not a chance this is better than Is This It
>>129895168shitty CIA funded metric rip-off band
>>129896541yeah its a genuine 10/10 and nothing else in music sounds remotely like it (odyssey and oracle is kinda close, and imo Paris 1919 has moments), Brian Wilson sings with earnest soul like few others did in the 60s, the layering and overall production creates walls of sound you won't get anywhere else, and it captures a great range of emotions and experiences
>>129896361objectively their only good album so it doesn't really count
>>129895168Also this one, it mogs the rest of BOC discography.
>>129897005secret treaties is better
>>129896964Second Coming is underrated
>>129897022No way in hell, not according to my ears, they don't lie https://youtube.com/shorts/1kfWR2BrUgI?si=t8aa4OzlFzBHF7ph ST maybe the 3rd best BOC album, but FOUO is a legit 10, ST is an 8 at best. FOUO is AOR peak, in a genre plagued by mixed bag albums (Crimes of Passion etc...) it is great from beginning to end, it includes my top 2 BOC songs (Joan Crawford...) it has a stronger "80s anime opening" feel that puts it above the others.
>>129895168How can you not like Surfer Rosa?I’ll give you Debaser though>>129897004Lame bait, enjoy the (You)
>>129895168They release like 600 albums a year but somehow Polygondwanaland is the only good one
>>129897906>Be Stiffkino
I don't get it, but most of her studio albums are a slog to get through with one or two really good songs in my opinion. Far's the only Regina Spektor album I can enjoy the whole way through.
spoon
dirty projectors
>>129896426Correct, but you don't even like Music for the Masses?
>>129897004the only part of this album i enjoyed was the first few seconds of sweet jane lol
>>129897906Not bait, it's the only VU album I likehttps://youtu.be/g9lwcw-_nkY?si=RviBheml-ct1U-GX
>>129901064Oh and I also love the first 6 Devo albums
While this remains one of my faves ever, I refuse to listen to anything by Foo Fighters. There's so much of Dave's passion, grief and authenticity in this record that I'm sure I won't find anywhere else in their discography. It's the last time ever Dave Grohl was cool
>>129905633go listen to color and shape faggotself titled is solid for a one man band project, but dave really needed the helping hands he did on the second album. it's probably the closest to self titled, it's fine if you want to shit on the other albums, but go give that one a chance
Bit of a guilty pleasure. Probably what kept me from giving the rest of his stuff an honest chance, but what I heard didn't hook me the way this did.
