hammerheart is epic blackened doom
it makes more sense marketing-wise to define viking metal as anything with viking themes and include amon amarth

I mostly agree, although I really love Blood Fire Death and Under The Sign Of A Black Mark just as much.

Over Bathory's first two albums, then I definitly agree.

However I prefer both black metal and viking metal Bathory over the middle Octagon/Requrem period of the band which I didnt like too much.
