ITT: Albums so good they started the end of their respective genres.
Not even a top 3 Green Day album, this is the 40 year old eyeliner millionaire with stylist gay illuminati clone version of them
>>129898326>stop attacking Based Republicans>RIGHT NOW!
Honestly a good album.
Not my favorite album of theirsprefer stuff like Nimrod and Kerplunk more
I wouldn't call it a "great" album, but I honestly think Incredibad killed that whole bling and crunk era or rap music. I'm On a Boat getting as popular as it did seemed to make everyone realize how fucking stupid and juvenile the whole thing was.
>>129898241This shit is gay as fuck and gets destroyed by literally any Blink 182 album, you dumb fucking retard
>>129898241Jesus of Suburbia is kino
Its a great album but it suffers from being stuck in its time. It has not aged well in that respect. A fun time but I don't find myself coming back in comparison to even older albums (even from the same band). It's just in 2000s purgatory and I'm always brought back into that specific time period moreso than other albums created in the same decade. Hell 21st Century Breakdown aged better and I'll come back to that before American Idiot
>>129899063I respect them for if nothing else but making 9 minute songs.
>>129898241what’s good about it? i’ve ne er heard it. i like the first 3 albums back when they were new
>>129899236It's a concept album, meaning it has one long theme to it.
>>129898241imagine being past the age of 12 and liking this trash. kek
>>129898999trvke
>>129899244you think i don’t know a concept album is after i said i listened to the first green day album when it was newly released? i mean what is good about *this* album, not a descriptor of what kind of album it is. there’s plenty of shit concept albums. you’re supposed to say some shit like how the vocal performances are more clear and confident, or the band uses more dynamic production and overdubbing than usual, or fucking anything about the actual album in a way that says you know what the fuck you’re talking about. lazy ass board. type some words, nigga. don’t hide your thoughts. no one knows who you are. speak freely
>>129898241It was trash at the time and is even more embarrassing now. Overtly political music ages like milk.
>>129899292It has one long theme to it.
>>129899318yeah that’s not enough, i won’t make time for it. it always seemed hambone
>>129899405Just what I thought: a jaded old man (Grouch?) whose light has gone out and is unimpressed by the world.
>>129898241idk if it counts but since yb dropped dont try this at home I've seen big things happening on the horizon
>>129898241i used to be disappointed by how much it drops off in the second half but now i think that's actually the intention. actually a pretty accurate prediction of the 10's and 20's
>>129898241explain how this album started the end of pop, or whatever genre you think they belong in
>>129898792none of what you said ever happened
>>129899297MANY are saying this
>>129898999>Blink 182 this shit fucking sucks
>>129899883>this shit fucking sucksBut enough about American Idiot and your taste in music
>>129899896why are not blink 182 fans not able to read green text
>>129899907Why can't you put a sentence together, sar?
>>129899917it makes sense if you remove "not". i just forgot i left it there :(
>>129898999>my shit stinks less than your turd
>>129900137Blink 182 board, faggot. Love it or leave it.
>>129900151No it isnt newfag. Never has been never will.
>>129900203Always has been. Always will be. Sorry you had to find out this way, you dumb fuckin retard
