>>129899728Nah, I just tend to prefer old things, especially music
>>129899705How's that Betcover album? I've heard good things>>129899636I recognize none of this. Very impressive stuff.>>129899585Pretty excellent choices all around, especially Howlin' Wolf.>>129899569I saw you in a previous thread lol, keep doing your thing>>129899525Same with you
im alcohol boy so mad props to all you non alcohol peeps in this thread>>129899766that gillian welch album gonna make me cry someday. a girl i quite like showed me the song Dear Someone. nice Yi Yi and Paranoia Agent. how do you take your coffee>>129899705melee and code geass hell yea. can't into bacon and monster but power to you friend. do you like Makoto Matsushita? my fav 80s fusion city pop guy. such a good guitarist. first album First Light is great>>129899569let's go beer>>129899525based TV picks, though for some reason i hate it's always sunny, just kinda grates on me. i imagine this is how my parents could have felt about seinfeld when it came out. i feel like i'll come around to it or maybe was just being stubborn to the hype. WKUK is legendary
>>129899824Listen to The Harrow & The Harvest too, it's got some all-time great songs (Hard Times being one of the best ever). I'm a wuss when it comes to coffee and very rarely take it black. Vietnamese coffee is my go-to these days. I'm torn on your picks for literature because I really disliked Jitterbug Perfume but greatly enjoyed Wind-up Bird. They're cut from the same cloth, in a way.
>>129899866will do, this special gal ultimately rejected me (we are still friends) so I had Only One and Only on repeat a while but I haven't touched Harrow & The Harvest, I may throw Hard Times on right away here in a momentyeah there's a kind of dreamlike epic nature to both novels that i really like. Tom Robbins' style can be pretty oppressive but i grew to enjoy it (maybe stockholm syndrome). wind up bird chronicle is my real #1, i should really re-read it. been reading a lot of non-fiction lately so would definitely take fiction recs, sounds like you're more qualified than i
>>129899705betcover is so fucking lame. Takanaka and casiopea are pretty great, especially if you're new to jazz fusion. And debussy, I don't know if it's just his piano pieces here, but i love everything about him.>>129899636tryhard and pretty autistic ngl>>129899569idk, there's much variety, really good pics in general tho. 2nd fav slayer album and discharge, one of my most fav punk albums. I really hate death in june. One more think, who's on porn?>>129899766Best mingus album, by far. Can't say the same about duke ellington, i find him boring.unwound and moss icon are a very good combination, sometimes I pair them with fugazi or drive like jehu when I want to hear more of that sound. Based caffeine addict
>>129899824>Makoto MatsushitaYes butI been tripping without drugs to this all day longIt's fuckken beautifulhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hpy-l99hYcgaround the 12:50 minute mark
>>129900143>Arepa>betcover is so fucking lame. Lies and Nigga you are probably venezuelan u trippin Betcover is incrdible for the age of the boys in that band they are probably younger than you & I & they play so many fucking instruments & the lead sings good & passionately. I get them. You didn't get them & that is fine. But don't be dissing them. They know more theory & application than both of us. Anyway yes, Debussy is masterclass. For me the most beautiful of the Classical composers. Yes, more than Bach arguably. Bach is a particular feel more "Goth" if you will or at least thats what it got associated to & final boss or dungeon music.
>>129899966I feel like Robbins tries to do the whole "cosmic jester" thing that Kurt Vonnegut did in some of his novels, but ends up falling short. I would definitely recommend Breakfast of Champions if you're looking for a place to start with him.>>129900143>Can't say the same about duke ellington, i find him boring.Even Money Jungle? That's Duke at his most cutting-edge, IMO. At the very least check out the title track if you're a Duke agnostic.
>>129900143>One more think, who's on porn? That would be meltymochi. She's a cocksucking queen. Her SFW content is her Lego builds:https://youtu.be/aFnR9Zxp0zEhttps://youtu.be/TZwCILS0mOQ
>>129900401she looks extremely BDP dude just dont get into women that are like that
>>129900560If you look at her right leg, you'll notice some suspicious looking scars that show up even after her ink covers them.
>>129900194got him with bet-ass,jokes aside, I don't really hate them; it's just that they disappointed me a little after revisiting their discography again. They're not bad, it's just that I don't find them that interesting; their sound or each songs becomes bland on each listening, almost monotonous or empty. I think morphine or cheer-accident do a better job of maintaining a cohesive album with that same jazzy-altrock sound; they have something that keeps you hooked on their arrangements or at least have memorable moments. Japan has a great crop of fabulous altrock bands, but the problem is that, the more you get into that scene, it feels like every band becomes a carbon copy of another, and I think that was my issue with betcover, it's just another band...And from Debussy... I don't know if he's objectively the best, but my heart belongs to his piano pieces, his estampes, images, preludes, even his chambear pieces, they're all perfect; I feel like there's nothing more to learn about music once you've heard all of him.
>>129900570yeah, she is severely mentally ill ughh still would smash but not marry

>>129900978>Hentai and Twin Peaks. The book I posted is Nietzsche by the way, the birth of tragedy, its about music. Nietzsche did some compositions too he was alright. He considers instrumental music more artistic than music with singers because when the song is lyrical it narrates to you the story, in instrumental music you can imagine the story free form therefore instrumental is potentially more abstract and beautiful. Depends on what you imagine. I make lyrics in my head as I listen to instrumental music thats why I prefer it compared to lyrical normie music.
