>>129909507Millennial here - the only kids I knew who liked this were the A/V dorks, who also liked Disturbed, Shpongle, Deadmau5, Mindless Self Indulgence, and shit like that. The hipsters were into old punk/alt bands like Sonic Youth, and the one true metalhead I knew was into Vader. Nobody who was really into music liked this, because it literally sounds like a video game. I'm actually more into metal now than I was back then, but when it came to power metal the bands I actually liked were Blind Guardian, Rhapsody of Fire, and Symphony X.
