It's great, though desu I think literally the only difference between Warning and 40 Watt Sun is if it's a quiet acoustic guitar or a loud doom guitar lol

Not OP (I'm the first replier) but I would say in sound it is as good. It's impossible to tell if the new stuff will be as good as that album yet because the songwriting is what makes that album so powerful and we only have one track so far, but yeah, so far it's looking really good. And yeah, they'll release a new album in a couple months.

Gets better with each listen. Some lead guitar moments like on WFAD could have really made this song much better I think. Still very good especially since it's been so long since they've released anything

Yeah I agree, it’s way less melodic. The guitar melodies that are there are kind of nothing. The atmosphere is good but I’m a little disappointed

Seems solid. Structure is like the same as watfhing from a distance, at least on this song. Vocals are good and tone isnt exactly like WFAD but theyre heavy and doomy. Need to listen to it more but it seems good for a follow up to a twenty year old album.
