they should just embrace it, team up with some big named producer and writers and create something passable with the idea of fusing r&b and metal

I like some of their stuff. A lot of criticism is valid towards them though. And their fans tend to be if theater kids discovered metal for the first time but i'm gladly take that over the legions of people who type up essays to explain why they think the band is shit. They always tend to be the most insufferable people online.
