One Hot Minute [Warner Bros., 1995] *dud*
>>129935836he was correct. nobody remembers a single track from this album
>>129935836I wish it was only one minute
>>129935836is not that bad... I like Aeroplane and All My Friends
>>129935858I'M A LITTLE ANTCHECKIN' OUT THIS AND THATI'M SMAAALLLLLL
Dave Navarro is an amazing guitarist
>>129935836Their entire discography deserves a dud rating.
>>129935858I remember Aeroplane. But then again, I think I'm one of about 8 people who loved OHM. It's a criminally underrated record.
>>129940807Aeroplane, Coffee Shop, All My Friends. It's only like that because John is a jealous tard who won't play any songs from the two times he left the band, it's better than most of their post BSSM stuff. >>129940807there are dozens of us! I wish we had another album with Dave on it with songs like Circle of the Noose, so based
>>129940847>Aeroplane, Coffee Shop, All My Friends. It's only like that because John is a jealous tard who won't play any songs from the two times he left the band, it's better than most of their post BSSM stuff. This was meant for >>129935858
>>129940853shit forgot Walkabout, that relatively throwaway song is more funky (in a less obnoxious way) than most of their subsequent work.
>>129935858My Friends was one of their biggest hits.
It is mediocre
>>129935836this is the only RHCP album you can listen to as an adult without embarrassment
>>129945425Agreed. It’s probably the best, and it still has some bad songs
>>129945425>>129948674bssm still holds up
>>129935836>Songs About Fucking [Touch and Go, 1987]>Anybody who thinks rock and roll is alive and well in the infinite variety of its garage-boy permutations had better figure out how these Hitler Youth rejects could crush the competition and quit simultaneously. No matter what well-meaning rockers think of Steve Albini's supremacist lies, they lie themselves if they dismiss what he does with electric guitars--that killdozer sound culminates if not finishes off whole generations of punk and metal. In this farewell version it gains just enough clarity and momentum to make its inhumanity ineluctable, and the absence of lyrics that betray Albini's roots in yellow journalism reinforces an illusion of depth--these are hateful and sometimes hackneyed, sure, but never sucker fare like "Jordan, Minnesota." A-You know, it's not often that a songwriter can be credibly accused of yellow journalism.
>>129949648sir psycho sexy is cringe as fuck. Think there are a few others but I've not listened to it in a while
