Not really. It certainly has strong pop hooks, but it's also noisy, folky, and heavy at different points. IMO Nirvana's biggest influence is the Wipers, and like the Wipers, it's basically applying strong songwriting to punk/alternative. It's too abrasive for me to consider it power pop.

Most overrated album ever, utter garbage. Nirvana were a garbage band that made immature music for teenagers and had poor technically skilled guitar playing. It's a pop punk album with 3 power chords in every song.
