Do people ever use a tone preset for a specific amp like a 5150 on their katana and run a pedal into that preset vs just running the pedal into the katana's clean channel? Forgive the dumbass questions, I'm super new and I spent the past few months actually playing the instrument instead of fucking around with pedals and amp settings.

I ended up getting a sterling music man. Going to try this out at home and see how i like it. I hate the feeling of round wounds but I had fun playing this in the store plus it matches my strap. I also played a Rickenbacker in the store. That fret buzz thing the guy told me about at the other store just isn't true. It was definitely just an adjustment issue.

Pressing lightly causes buzz and the first few frets are usually a little tougher to press hard. I’m assuming you are because you’ve been playing and taking lessons and everything but it doesn’t hurt to ask. Is it buzzing at the actual fret you’re playing or is it buzzing farther up the neck on a different fret?

I'm a liberal California indie rocker who fell on hard times due to Trump's economy, forcing me to take a job as a police man to make ends meet. Until recently, the only "thin blue line" i cared about was the racing stripe on my CIJ mustang. A few months ago, the only black thing I stomped was my Proco Rat pedal. I admit I'm still learning the ropes and coming to terms with being "the fuzz" instead of rocking out with it. Sure, I'm a fish out of water, I'm learning the ropes... but maybe I can change the system from the inside out.
