unironically one of my fave bands going, seen em lives a few times and enjoy almost all their music vids. borders on parody obviously but it's like Rutles in that the songs themselves are good enough you get into it. seems like the lyrics are getting better lately too, 2 or 3 has some nice lines

ngl they're just a great band. i do wish after this next album they'd shake things up a bit. maybe go back to working with the guy from foxygen again and see what they can do w/ that guy's sound and their newfound songwriting chops (which they clearly didn't have back then)
