>>129962289Just Watch the Fireworks and Goodbye Sky Harbor are incredible. I get why they moved to pop rock, and the title track from Bleed American is fantastic and a couple other tracks on that one were great but it would have been nice if they stuck in the Clarity sound another album.

Probably one of my favorite biggest Emo bands, right next to Thursday, which is funny because these two bands sound inherently so different, but their weird commercial success and defining Emo for 2000s sort of connects them.I don't think they made a single bad album, they have some great stuff even after Post-Futures, Chase This Light kicks a lot of assDamage is really underrated straight-forward Alt.Rock album, reminds me a lot of Bleed American but even more in your face.Integrity Blues is a great album that seems like a more polished up attempt of several things they were doing at Invented into a more structured albumSurviving is also great.Just great band one of the best Emo-Pop acts around probably.>>129963277Jimmy Eat World always had a huge Pop appeal, Sweetness was supposed to originally supposed to be on Clarity. Invented is a really interesting record where they're doing anything, some of these songs sound like Clarity.

As awful as the emo-pop/scene kid thing was, there were actually a few great bands with connections to real emo/post-hardcore, like Jimmy Eat World, Brand New, and Taking Back Sunday.I never liked Fall Out Boy with the exception of one song, Sugar We're Going Down, which I would argue is a straight up midwest emo song.
