No, I will not listen to your unknown artist. I rather listen to mainstream classics.

It's better if we keep things that way.

Despite looking like a limp-wristed faggot hippie basedboy, this man still packs a punch!

He didn't mean to.

i have respect for the oldsters, but i still wish there was good music that spoke to my generation, i hated when rock died and got replaced by top 40 pop and pop rap, i wanted my 20s to have a kino soundtrack i could look back on in my 40s.

the beatles were working class lads from rough parts of engerland, they were made cute and un threatening by their manager

weird, /mu/ absolutely hated the beatles back then. we'd bully the fuck out of you for even insinuating you liked them. i take it you're new here? you wouldn't have liked it back then.

Careful boybandfag might bully you. I think by "bully" he means "try to suck your cock" lololol KWAF

The Beatles were fine but large in part big because they did it first. Imagine living in the early1900s and hear a shellac record spin for the first time. It would have blown your socks off. Don't get me wromg The Beet's are a fine group with good records that are emjoyable to this day, but they owe a large part of their fame to being, the first to do it.

We have to remember Jahns unfortunate upbringing that brought him such pain and desperation later in his career. For starts his parents abandoned him then secondly our sad lad had to endure watxh his mother die. This is something no young lad from engerland should ever have to endure. In conclusion he was a very flawed man

I wish I was born in the 50s

Just a note. You say you want to be born in 50s but in post ww2 england, there were many food shortages. Life wasn't all hunky dorey, and the four johns were part of this all.

Btw ringo had tuburculosis
>>
>>129966904
they were hard men according to Lemmy
>>
>>129978358
those shortages were over by the mid-late 50s so if you were born say 1950 you'd be a teenager/ young man and get to experience Swinging London

>"Brian Epstein cleaned them up for mass consumption, but they were anything but sissies. They were from Liverpool, which is like Hamburg or Norfolk, Virginia--a hard, sea-farin' town, all these dockers and sailors around all the time who would beat the piss out of you if you so much as winked at them. Ringo's from the Dingle, which is like the f***ing Bronx. The Rolling Stones were the mummy's boys--they were all college students from the outskirts of London. They went to starve in London, but it was by choice, to give themselves some sort of aura of disrespectability. I did like the Stones, but they were never anywhere near the Beatles--not for humour, not for originality, not for songs, not for presentation. All they had was Mick Jagger dancing about. Fair enough, the Stones made great records, but they were always s**t on stage, whereas the Beatles were the gear.
