The Beatles were fine but large in part big because they did it first. Imagine living in the early1900s and hear a shellac record spin for the first time. It would have blown your socks off. Don't get me wromg The Beet's are a fine group with good records that are emjoyable to this day, but they owe a large part of their fame to being, the first to do it.
