People who listen to Nirvana seriously are more cringe than the hoes wearing their merch shirts without knowing the band
>>129969154>People who listen to Nirvana seriously are more cringeWhy though? Care to elaborate?
>Says a band sucks>Won't elaborate why they suckTotal alpha male move, /mu/ wasn't ready this
>>129969200It's just like that boyband fag, he never elaborates why he hates The Beatles so much

>>129969154you are a cliche
>Israeli jets activity In Kurdistan Region
I love myselfI'm better than you
Is anyone here old enough to have known someone that was seriously into Nirvana before Nevermind/they got big? What were they like?
>>129969154black hole sun, won't ya come
People who hate bands just because they're popular are more cringe than the people buying a popular band shirt without listening to them.
>>129969218Maybe it's because he hates John. It's always a John pic he uses. I agree with him there though fuck John.
>>129970795No, but it's not hard to imagineIt was those guys who went to underground concerts where various types of sludgy metal playedSo if back in the 80s you were into Scratch Acid, White Zombie, Melvins, Mudhoney. TAD, you'd go to a Nirvana show tooI'd imagine it was people who were in between metal and punk rock fans and noise. So they liked this noisy band that rocked hard but it was also somewhat unusual in terms of rhythm and riffs. What later would be called alternative
Literally all it is is that Nirvana is a mainstream band with a very small catalogue that's easy to get through quickly while clearly distinguishing what's a "hit" and what's a "deep cut," it's baby's first "real" band and that's okay, it just means that a lot of their fans tend to be pretty musically uncultured. There will forever be kids saying Kurt Cobain was the messiah of music and you just gotta live with it.
>>129969154Nirvana made good music. So good that they went from being underground to being mainstream. Why is that so hard to understand?
>>129969218>>129970975He just states the obvious: the Beatles were the first pop boyband and not a real rock band.
Nirvana is good but what the semi adults on here arent ready to accept is that theyre the juvenile maturity level grunge band and Pearl Jam is the mature man's grunge. AiC is the peak of the genre and Soundgarden is solid aswell with a clear metal distinction
