It's always funny when normies who are used to pop slop listen to actual music by actual musicians and are mindblown by the most mundane things.Like if you go on Sgt pepper's comments there are people genuinely debating if the "BILLY SHEARS" transition was intentional or not. Literally cannot comprehend an album as being a cohesive work of art. Some other things they can't wrap their heads around are songs that break the typical structure (for example no choruses), long instrumental sections, songs over 5 minutes long.

>>129980878this board is reddit normies, you are absolutely even more in an echo chamber and way more retarded than social normies but you are a fucking normalfaggot through and through
>an album literally made by a boyband >work of artOP, are you gay? have you considered making this a post in /wpop/ instead of making a thread about it? old /mu/ hated this band btw
>>129980878the weirdest one is "beat switches" in hip-hop/rap

To put it in context, The Beatles were doing something very new at the time. Intentionally creating sounds that were unrecognizable. The whole album is a trip through sublime soundscapes they created around their masterfully written songs. I think a lot of younger people miss the significance of how different of an approach that was. Because of synth and computers, music today is frequently filled with sounds that can’t be produced by traditional instruments. But at the time it was absolutely new and stunning.I’ll also add that I think Within You Without You is my favorite track. The journey the album takes you on is all the more epic for its spiritual enlightenment. The play between eastern instruments and western strings is, again, sublime. “When you've seen beyond yourself then you may findPeace of mind is waiting thereAnd the time will come when you see we're all oneAnd life flows on within you and without you”
