The pogues are pretty much the only ones who did the genre justice in my opinion, I don't really care for Flogging Molly or Dropkick Murphys at all, it just sounds like a poor imitation and not as much folk in the mix. Hell in reality, Shane MacGowan was the only one who could do it right since the Pogues weren't worth listening to after he was kicked out of the band, and him + The Popes were actually decent

But favorite song by the Pogues, probably Broad Majestic Shannon. Favorite album, I really like their first one since it was them at their purest but you can't go wrong with any of the first three
