>act like a fool>think like a genius
bad OPs but I just had a dream about melody today and I was singing some deep shit to it. I just wrote up the intro. It's more a section not an intro but its all I remember and yes it had poly rhythm. A very simple one just a tara ra ra ra4 note loop every like 2 or 3 notes of the main melody which is sad and slow right hand keys side. When you dream about music make sure to write it as soon as possible because you'll forget, even if its not an amazing idea. It comes from out there so I matters.
and i already forgot the piano line i dreamed of. See this is why its great to take notes. I'm glad i did. I will transcribe it later. It was not super amazing but it had a very honest emo feel to it.
I want to learn but I also don't know what songs I want to play. Most popular music is just basic ass chords and melody and a lot of classical/jazz just doesn't interest me.
posting this so I remember I want to learn ithttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yHrQitKjS3I

>>130035324Recommend me solo keyboard synth albums, preferably upbeat or calm, not dissonant or distressed
>>130038341Thanks but im mostly looking to learn the staff roll. And its weird because I can't really find a version that sounds true to the actual OST version. This is the closest I found, I might be able to figure it out from this and just listening to ithttps://musescore.com/user/166718/scores/20245231
>>130039489Ok this sounds like a good version, it includes other instruments which clutters up the page but whateverhttps://musescore.com/user/23025451/scores/12799327
This dude is inspiring he always live streams at this hour practicing everyday:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7KJzxvQu-C4Pay attention at how he warms up and everything
>>130039535was surprised to learn how many pianists just practice by doing scales/arpeggios with both hands. I guess once you master that then playing the songs come easy
>>130039568>I guess once you master that then playing the songs come easyThat's because EVERY melody ever written is based on some kind of scale, and most popular western music tends to stick to the same handful of scales so if you know the scales by heart, then learning different melodies just becomes a matter of playing those same scales you already know but in slightly different orders.
