She spent every single penny of the budget, thinking it would make the best album possible. In reality, she just dug a massive hole for herself because no one was interested outside "Gucci Gucci," which her label severely misread as being more than a one-hit wonder. She still owes the record company over a million dollars more than a decade later. If she does drop a successful song independently, the label will send a team of Jews to her door to collect all that money. It led her to become depressed and not try anymore. So when she does release music lately, it's usually just some freestyle about the current stress or bullshit in her life. It's no longer a way to make a living for her, it's just a way to vent. Also, she got pregnant when she released her first album. The label dropped her immediately because she was expected to tour the hell out of it for promotion, but she refused. I don't think she understood that's how most musicians actually make their money. She essentially buried herself with that decision, and she'll never be able to climb out of that hole.
