Let's discuss Bully. To me, V1 was the version that clicked the hardest. It had such a unique identity, it would have had a very interesting spot in Kanyes career being released in that form. What do you think? Did you listen to the different versions?
V1 was a good sketch of an album. Some polishing, real vocals with high energy, and it would have been a really good little album. What he did with them didn't fully hit that mark, imo. I like the new songs on the release version too, but they have a totally different feel to them, so they maybe could better have been on a separate project, and all in all, it all lacks a bit in spirit and energy. If he had just finished V1 for the first or second release date, it would have been great. I'm still really happy that it didn't turn out like garbage.
>>130054618It's listenable which is the best case scenario for me after the absolute dogshit everything post-Donda has been. Hope he has gained enough public goodwill by the time he makes his next album so he's allowed to work with actually good producers this time. I feel like he has another classic album in him.
I liked it but KEK would have been a generational album if he finished it
>>130054762How do you feel about the cd first press? I think it is the one known as v2? Just listened to my cd, I really liked how it felt a bit bigger without compromising the vibe of v1. But as far as I understand a lot of people hate it.>>130054795I never got to listen to it It's more reminiscent of the final Bully, right? Was it ever up on streaming?
>>130054795Yeah despite the degenerate shit he was making music about, it was at least super interesting and would have gotten some sort of reaction out of you no matter who you are. It's a shame since I truly believe all the nazi shit and twitter rants was supposed to be a promo for Cuck, but he realized he was destroying his life and basically settled on making Bully as we know it now which is a conventional Kanye album where he's not really rapping about anything
>>130054835>It's more reminiscent of the final Bully, right? No. It was also total garbage. People that gas it up are just edgy chuds, not Ye fans.
>>130054835>How do you feel about the cd first pressI didn't really listen to that because the real release was just about to drop and everything I read implied it was basically the same and just a few prod and mixing updates.>>130054853Cousin was peak, imo. The others were at least funny.
Meh. Just a hollow "apology" that doesn't amount to anything. Cowed into feigning regret, but too narcissistic to speak the truth. Nothing words over doodle-beats. Pretty sad offering.
The only good thing on that album isn't even made by Kanyehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KTVzePEN76g
>>130054954this. he didn't mean that shit. The only thing he regrets is that his cheap, desperate publicity stunt was totally unnecessary, since he's still moving gobs of tickets for fans despite releasing lukewarm pablum albums. If he was that mad about Kardashians taking his kids, he would've rapped about a 2nd Armenian Genocide or some shit.(((they))) love him anyway because Ye is MAGA trash. $2 billion to fight a proxy war against Iran for Israel gets you a lot of "OK we'll look the other way"
>>130054795Nitrous don’t help me it just put me in a trance
>>130054795only good song off cuck was ww3
>>130054793heil hitler bro aint never comin backhe can suck that cousin dick all he wants
Bully is yet another example of how Ye has chosen to prioritize non-music stuff over music. The music now seems like an afterthought, a means to something else as opposed to an end in an of itself. >>130054793>I feel like he has another classic album in him.No, the well has gone dry just like it has with Tay. but Tay won. Ye's cooked.
