Why was this chillout/downtempo electronic shit fucking EVERYWHERE in the late 2000's to early 2010's on music websites like last.fm?Always thought the whole genre was lame metrosexual trash that sounded like it came from the soundtrack of a lame romance movie (some of the tracks literally were!). Hope some of you felt the same at the time or still feel the same way about similar genres that are around now.
