>>130055624The Boys From Dungeon Lane is about what went on in Brian Epstein's cellar
>>130055624Can't this fucking faggot die already?
>>130055909>The Beatles were hard men too. Brian Epstein cleaned them up for mass consumption, but they were anything but sissies. They were from Liverpool, which is like Hamburg or Norfolk, Virginia--a hard, sea-farin' town, all these dockers and sailors around all the time who would beat the piss out of you if you so much as winked at them. Ringo's from the Dingle, which is like the fucking Bronx. The Rolling Stones were the mummy's boys--they were all college students from the outskirts of London. They went to starve in London, but it was by choice, to give themselves some sort of aura of disrespectability. I did like the Stones, but they were never anywhere near the Beatles--not for humour, not for originality, not for songs, not for presentation. All they had was Mick Jagger dancing about. Fair enough, the Stones made great records, but they were always shit on stage, whereas the Beatles were the gear.
>>130056003He’s already dead though.
>>130055624I bet it's gonna be their edm anthem
>>130056050>the Stones made great records, but they were always shit on stage, whereas the Beatles were the gear. What the fuck was this nigga talking about? The Beatles didn't give a fuck about performing live, they couldn't even hear themselves playing. All of the live recordings of them, they sound like shit
>>130056108>knowing this much about 60s one direction Fag. We would’ve raped you back in the old days. We hated the Beatles back then. You wouldn’t like it here. Also, I’m gay myself.
>least liked beatlelittle out of touch m8, anyone with taste agrees he was the best songwriter and most agree he had the best solo material though we all like all things must pass
>>130057073>>130055909LMAO! these 60s one direction references made me LOL! my BF and me (we're both gay) literally turned red at these posts.

>>130056126I find The Beatles interesting as the de facto "greatest rock band" in a historical sense, it's fascinating that everything there is to know about them is recorded and a matter of public knowledge, unlike so many other bands where a few legends are all that survives about them. I find their music pretty tedious to listen to outside the singles. I've been posting similar opinions about The Beatles (like that they were non-playing hacks who sucked live, unlike any worthy rock band) since about 2012
>>130058006They played better live solo
>>130058006>who sucked liveCitation needed.

>>130055624Two museum pieces/mummies get together for a final bingo/chess turn, before they croak. By the time both die, nearly all 20th century mainstream musicians will be gone, and music will be like radio serials
Lennon is my favorite because he died before he got old and boring. More musicians should die when they're young or just go into retirement and disappear forever
>>130061794>disengenous or ignorant Now look at where they could hear their monitors etc. ie Hamburg or Liverpool, before they had the mania around them.
>>130058006"The seething din of millennials faded into the warming night, their cries of "the Beatles fucking suck" and "Boomers are to blame for all my failings" were dampened to silence by the mist, and drown by the morning dew.But they'd be awake by early afternoon, only to start the plaintive ritual again; the melancholy wailing bouncing off the backlit screens and cereal boxes surrounding them, while members of other generations, working, raising families, contributors all, heard nothing of it. The local flora turned as deaf an ear as the fauna, and the cloudless sky, too; and so continued the spiteful blameful opera voiced by the directionless adherents of America's voluntary class of malding malaisial millennials."
>>130065307But those recordings suck too. They were a standard pub covers band in Hamburg. Picrel has one Lennon-McCartney song over 2 LPs. I think Chuck Berry and Carl Perkins played their shit better than the Beatles did
>>130055624bro, im old as fuck now, and these niggers were old as fuck when i was a kid.
this shit better not be fuckin tragic like when they roll out willie nelson on stage and he clearly has no idea where the fuck he is
>>130056003This. His need for attention is pathetic
Why won't he croak already? zoomers DGAF about his modern slop
>>130066244>badly recorded bootleg can be judged for qualityYeah nah
>>130055624>More Beatles slop with the least liked memberI'm always up for some unreleased George
Say what you want about the Beatles but they did make a genuine effort to work on the actual craft of the music itself. They go from club players to boy band to mature band to solo projects. They simply put in the work and develop new styling every so often. Exceedingly few bands and solo artists bother with all that and it shows. There is simply nobody quite like them. Not even close. You also have three major talents in one group, McCartney, Lennon and Harrison.
