I used to like this a lot when I was a teenager, but now for the most part it just sounds kinda braindead and less than half baked. not to say there's necessarily anything wrong with liking low effort underdeveloped shit like this, but at least have the awareness to know this isn't le epic patrician music and people who don't like it aren't beneath you

1. Cop>Filth and is absolutely so perfect in its own sound that its the top of what it is2. The 2010s trilogy is some of the best post rock ever made and ultimately has way more depth and relistenability, it may be the normie pick but To Be Kind is the best with its songs that actually rock
>>130056207I don't agreeI do think their earliest work has an appealing purity and simplicity to it, but it's very obviously an unrefined early output and I think it's crazy to say it's any better than children of god, white light, soundtracks, or 2010 trilogyhowever gira is genuinely and incredible musician for being able to make so much music with widely different styles for over 30 years without getting old and washed up. The average band would be lucky to make 3 good albums, and gira's made like a dozen.
