How often do you go to live shows anon?
>>

I don't show up often. Some people would wonder if I'm alive.

every other week
my town has a pretty cool hardcore metal screamo scene lots of moshpit action
>>
never, mostly because our village has about 50 houses, two pubs, a church, a tank and thats about it. the closest Ive got to a "show" in the last decade has been a few visits to a folk club in the community hall of the nearest town to hear local amateurs bash away at guitars. which was actually pretty good sometimes but I haven’t even been there in a good while.

Assuming anon is in the UK, yes they still have villages
>>
>>130062193
England, yes, but doesnt everywhere else have villages too? what would they call
>about 50 houses, two pubs, a church, a tank and thats about it
in the US?
>>
>>130062216
There are very small towns in the US that may be considered villages, but not in the same way as in Europe. Close knit villages are more common in the east but they tend to be pretty sleepy and depressed nowadays, and farther west they get too rural and spread out to have much community anyway.
>>
>>130062216
we just call those small towns

its just a language thing then. personally, for me to call something a town it would have to have a few shops and stuff.

I went to four last year which was more than the year before. Devin Townsend, PIG, Front Line Assembly, and an opera performance of Strauss' Elektra. I don't have anything planned for this year other than Cabaret Voltaire.

yeah same kindve thing, except our roofs are a different colour
>>
>>130062365
well the thing is that america doesnt have towns that look like >>130062363 which would actually be worthy of being called a village
everything is laid out on a grid or if you're in a rural small town everything will be spread out on a bunch of twisty curvy backwoods roads. the most village-y thing you'll get is something that looks like a western saloon town which is still just a town

never. covid and wokeism ruined my entire culture.
