They are even bigger than ever and have taken over /mu/ which is why every new band posted here receives so much hostility

The last time i saw a significant amount of wrong generation kids was then the Freddie Mercury biopic came out, and their Live Aid performances got flooded with comments like "this is so better than the music from my generation" or "i wish we still had music like this". Maybe the TikTok algorithm has something to do with it. After all it's obsessed with pushing "new" and "hot" acts so i guess zoomers don't feel the need to isolate themselves from current music
