I remember sneaking into the TV room. We finally had cable and HBO. I wanted to watch this funny movie with Chevy Chase called Vacation that had all the adults rolling on the floor.
About 20 minutes in I hear this song that I never forgot
Blitzkrieg Bop
Thank you John Hughes, the man who helped expose gen X youth to so many good tunes
Ramones had a hard time getting airplay but that song in that movie probably exposed them to more people than radio stations could

They formed in 1976 and they already were playing most of the songs before recording the album. The only reason they didn't put out music earlier was Spain's transition from Franco's dictatorship. I know it's hard to accept defeat, but please give it a listen, they could actually play their instruments ;)

The KKK (Democrats) Took My Baby Away
What a prophetic song
How did these junkies know American female whites would all join TEAM SOCIALISM after punk died?
The Ramones fucking hated commies

>they could actually play their instruments
a lot was revealed in the 40th Anniversary remixes
Particularly the studio "rough mixes" where you can hear two distinct drum tracks for "doubling"
One is perfectly in time played by who knows who?
The other is the off time one played by Tommy? they completely muted for album distribution of the recording

With that said by the time the 80s came around Marky keeps time LIVE like no other, but in the beginning yes. They didn't play very well.

chainsaw is still one of the worst songs I've ever hear din my life

Blitzkrieg Bop is on every movie
