>songs you used to love are forever associated with your ex
>>130072604I can't listen to Justice or CHVRCHES anymore because of this

Marc Anthony & Backstreet Boys.
shes sucking and fucking
>>130072604In a few years, they'll just be songs again and whatever association they have with someone you dated a decade ago will be insignificant. You'll have the joy of rediscovering music you loved but set aside
>>130072801How many years? Its been 5, entire genre ruined
>>130072604I love music more
I have multiple playlists filled with some of my favorite songs that I can no longer listen to. All because I made the mistake of sharing it with women I loved
i absolutely had to get my ex gf back because of this, I literally made her a top 20 love song list and because I love love songs it was also some of my favorite music, if she hadn't taken me back my whole music listening would be jaded, now we have our first kid thank god but man she just walked out on me and left me a note originally after my full work week, I told my buddy who helped me move out "i've got nothing else I'm gonna fight for her for the rest of my life" might sound gay but it worked back and I had her back in small doses in a few months and then we moved back in together about a year later before we went on a massive road trip (that she almost tried to break up with me before again, I practically lost my shit at her over this telling her she had to go)
>>130073061if it was someone who felt like true love I disagree with that anon
Swing Balboa Down on the Riverside by Manhattan Transfer
>>130072604Brainbombs...
>>130073205>now we have our first kidGet a paternity check mate.
>>130072604yeah I know that feel
>>130072801>>130073061It's been 5 years for me and the feeling still remains.
>>130073205You sound like you need help
>>130073205People out here are struggling to find anyone to love and be loved. If you already struck gold but struck out there is no reason to fall for this "plenty of fish" and "just let her go bro" bullshit. "Till death do us part" doesn't mean "give up when the going gets rough". If you want someone go figure out what all it takes to get them. Even if you do find "someone else" what are the chances they will actually be better and make you feel in your heart of hearts that they are better? You may find yourself sitting there still comparing them to the one who got away. This is your life. Do what you want, not what other people are advising you to do. Do they have *their* perfect lives? No, so ignore them and their criticisms. The best things in life are hard to come by, and whatever is best *for you* will be pretty obvious in or around the moment.
>>130073205I tried this on a few women and they all blocked me multiple times. hmm…
I'm 34 and never had a gf
>>130073061I probably shouldn't have put it in terms of years, but subsequent relationships. Two girlfriends later and it'd be hard to even remember what music the first one listened to
>>130072604The perks of being a permavirgin loser incel is to never have to relate to this feel.
