Remember this album? /mu/ fucking loved this shit 15 years ago but nowadays nobody remembers it. If you look at the old /mu/core essential charts this is easily the most dated album on there, nothing has aged as badly as this.I liked the album too and it hit hard on first listen but it really has no replay value, even back then it had no replay value.
>>130072612i've seen this posted in the last 2 years or so. i actually fucking hate /mu/core though so i'm not gonna check it out
old man yells at cloud
>>130072628You aren't missing that much.
>>130072724Zoomers and alphafags don't give a shit about this album.
>>130072755of course i am. i'm missing the feeling of being locked in a basement while scaruffi talks to my crush
zoomers dont have relationships anymore so allegory on emotionally abusive relationships means nothing to them, and theyre too scared of medical debt so the surface layer repels them aswell.
>>130072831All true but also the album isn't that good
in the attic of the universe > hospice
Familiars mogs
>>130072612Yes i remember this forced meme
>>130072831i thought this was about someone dying in uhhh.... hospice...(never listened to this boring shit)
>>130073297Kinda yes but also no
>>130072612
I was and am really into mucore to this day and hospice was never good to me, maybe its because the lyrics and story never mattered to me but yeah I expected more from it. Doesnt have the indie folk energy like microphones or sufjan or even the gayer ones
>>130072724lol
>>130072628Mucore is so varied youre retarded if you think theres nothing good in it
I remember checking it out back in 2013 when I found /mu/, and have listened to it this many times since then, it's alright.
it's a tad melodramatic to me now
>>130072612Remember this album is just a ripoff of The Meadowlands
>>130074621That's an understatement of the century
>>130072612I only listened to it a couple of years ago. I liked it.
unironically>>130072612 good album
>>130072612I liked this album less when I discovered it wasn't based on a true story.
>>130081170When was this? I haven't posted here in like 9 years and didn't know the opinion had changed.
I recommended this to a gorgeous alt-adjacent girl in college who was extremely into me. She listened to, like, Yellowcard, things like that. Her mother had died of cancer a couple years prior.
>>130083581you did not mention the outcome/result
Epilogue>Two=Bear>SylviaEverything else is mehAlso the album is mixed like shit, the Ss pop so badly they hurt the ears and You can barely hear the vocals.
>>130083595No, I did not
In my head, this and The Glow pt.2 are the same album
>>130083751Insane trvke
>>130083751Pretty much this yeah
>>130075957i was actually being sarcastic, it's such a ridiculously over the top presentation: "let's use a caretaker assisting someone dying from cancer to represent my gf leaving me"
Hospice was a "you had to be there" album but Burst Apart and Familiars are very solid art-rock.Haven't listened to their newest one yet
>>130083751 kettering is ok though
>>130072612Def the precursor or something like that to rymcore and fantano video essays culture
